Community Impact Award
The purpose of the Community Impact Award is to identify, celebrate, promote and encourage collaborative projects (across Sport and Recreation) which have a positive impact directly on children and young people (5 -18 years) and their whānau. Entries are encouraged for all programmes or projects (regardless of scale). The winner of the Community Impact Award will be recognised for their outstanding impact based on:
- Evidence of need (use of research/data and/or listening to the voice of children, young people and their whānau)
- Working collaboratively
- Taking a holistic approach to meeting the needs of children and young people
- The barriers and challenges overcome
- Innovation
- Direct impact on young people (and their whānau if relevant)
